The Gambian Police Authority at a dinner organized in honour of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency appreciates the initiative of the Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu in the establishment of LNSA to maintain adequate security for a safer Lagos.

The Gambian Inspector- General of Police Mr Abdolie Sanyang in his words expressed satisfaction in LNSA presentation and looking forward to Lagos kind of community policing success story.

The IGP expressed their intention to have a similar LNSA security template in the Gambia adding that the presence of LNSA team in the Gambia was an eye opener that will speed the international security relationship.

The Gambian IGP Mr Abdolie Sanyang who was ably represented by the Commissioner for Operations and International Cooperation Mr LLK Boyang elucidate further that international relationship goes beyond politics but deals with interpersonal relationship, exchange of ideas for realisation of common goals.

The General Manager Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan responded that the relationship between Lagos State and the Gambia is a passing phase for a journey to continue with great accomplishment.

He also commended the IG for the trust and confidence he had in his team, and for the unflinching love shown to LNSA team.

At the tail end of the dinner, the Lagos State Governor Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu was presented with the Gambia cultural symbols as a sign of bond between the two countries.
