The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, Prince Ifalade Oyekan fisn has distributed Patrol bikes to the various Divisions and Commands of the Agency.

While speaking at the handing over ceremony held at the Headquarters of the Agency at Bolade, Oshodi, Prince Oyekan said the actions of the Governor shows a deliberate effort to ensure the attainment of his vision of a safer and more secured Lagos. He said, “Mr. Governor has shown a clear intention about the safety and security of residents and visitors to Lagos and the least you can do as Officers is to deliver fast, reliable and efficient services to the people.”

Ifalade further tasked the Officers on the maintenance of the patrol bikes as he said, “most of the time we assume that the property of Government is nobody’s property and that is why we handle them carelessly. Let me sound this as a warning to you. The reckless use of Government property under our care has dire consequences, so it is Important for you to ensure the patrol bikes like other equipment under your purview are kept in very good condition always.

He concluded by appreciating the Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his leadership, especially in the vision of a safer and more secured Lagos expressed through the provision of logistics and the needed environment for the Agency to excel in the delivery of its statutory responsibilities.
