LNSC APPREHENDS TWO MEN FOR IMPERSONATION.... Ensuring Public Safety.
Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps have successfully apprehended two individuals who have been impersonating officers from the Environmental sanitation department, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources in Alausa to extort money from innocent Lagosians.
On Wednesday, 15th May, 2024 at 12:00pm approximately, LNSC officers apprehended Mr. Ogunrinde Olatunde 46 years and Mr. Ganiu Disu 54 years who engaged in impersonation by extorting money from the Proprietor of Keniola Private school at No.13, Bashorun street in the Agege Local Government Area for environmental related offences.
According to the GM LNSA Prince Dr. Ifalade Ajasa Oyekan fisn "Our relentless effort to deter criminal activities and protect residents is of utmost importance to us," said Oyekan. Adding that "Through the vigilance and professionalism of our Corps Officers, we were able to swiftly apprehend the two individuals engaged in impersonation, thus mitigating any potential harm they could have caused."
The two men have been HANDED OVER to the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Adegoke Fayoade at the Lagos State Police Command, GRA Ikeja.
