The Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency and the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad has agreed to partner to ensure the safety and security of Lagos residents.

During a familiarisation meeting between Prince Ifalade Oyekan, the General Manager of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency and Mr. Olayinka Egbeyemi, Chairman Rapid Response Squad, the two Agencies agreed to collaborate towards the peace and safety of Lagos through knowledge transfer, equipment and personnel synergy.

Egbeyemi pointed out that the need for LNSC to partner with RRS in ensuring the safety and security of Lagos cannot be negotiated.

The RRS commander promised to carry the LNSC along in all its operations in order to prepare them for the future challenges of community policing. He said, " we can't afford to let Lagos down. We owe the people and the Government the responsibility of ensuring safety and security."

Prince Ifalade expressed joy at the response of the RRS Commander and promised to do all the needful to ensure that the relationship grows beyond mere discussions and rhetorics to an enduring one that will benefit residents of Lagos.

Oyekan warned criminals to steer off Lagos as the city will soon be too hot for crimes and misdemeanor with the collaboration of the two foremost community policing agencies.

Prince Oyekan thanked Egbeyemi for sharing his experience and agreeing to collaborate with the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency in line with Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu's THEMES AGENDA.
