In continuation of the directive of the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the rebranding of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency-LNSA, Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan has declared the willingness of the Agency to partner with all relevant stakeholders in the State and beyond. 

Oyekan made this known at a parley with the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons-NAPTIP, representatives of the European Union and Expertise France at Abuja. In attendance at the meeting were the Director General (DG) of NAPTIP Dr Fatima Waziri Azi, representative of the two International collaborators in the fight against Human Trafficking, Ms Abimbola Adewunmi of Expertise France and Ms Eleni Zerzelidou of the European Union-EU. 

In her response, Dr Fatima Waziri expressed delight for the initiative and announced the willingness of NAPTIP to support and partner with the LNSA in its quest to ensure the safety of lives and properties in Lagos State, especially in the area of prohibiting Human Trafficking and related menaces.

The General Manager of LNSA, Prince Oyekan said opening up the frontiers of the Agency was drawn from the Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Agenda in Mr Governor’s vision for a better and bigger Lagos State.

He concluded that his Agency as one of the key drivers of the vision of the Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu in concert with other Law Enforcement Agencies in the State will leave no stone unturned to ensure the security of lives and property in the State.
