Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan was recently bequeathed another Award for philanthropy and service by the Celestial Church of Christ, ..... Parish, Ebute Meta.

At the presentation and courtesy visit the sheepherd of the church, Evangelist Ayodeji commended Prince Ifalade Oyekan for his dexterity and commitment to the Lagos State Government and by extension the people of the State.

He also express delight that the governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his insight in appointing the humble and hardworking Prince of Lagos as the General Manager of the most important organ of state. 

Prince Oyekan thanked the sheepherd and his congregation for seeing worthy of the Award, saying this is a spur for him to do more as a public servant and Lagosian.

Ifalade said, "this is the first Award from a Christian group and I believe it's a call for me to be more Christ like in my relationship with man and office." 

Oyekan thanked the Governor for seeing him as worthy as one of his lieutenants in the dream of creating a better Lagos, while he called on religious leaders to do more in the area of moral reorientation of the people towards a crime free society. 

The sheepherd and members of the parish also prayed for the success of the Lagos State Government, the Governor and Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan.
