The Obanikoro of Lagos, High Chief Adesoji Ajayi Benbe has reiterated the commitement of the Tradition Institutions of Lagos to the Government of Mr Babjide Sanwo-Olu.

The Obanikoro while speaking during a recent courtesy visit to the General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Agency, Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan at the Multi-Agency Complex, Bolade-Oshodi commended the Administration of Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his efforts and achievements, especially in the area of Security.

Chief Ajayi-Benbe congratulated the General Manager on his appointment, while maintaining that it is a well-deserved appointment which he also said has already started bearing fruits. He mentioned the reinvigorated commitment of the Officers to duty as one of the pointers to the new wave.

The delegation which also had High Chiefs Waheed Yusuf, the Olorogun Agbeje of Lagos, Ismail Oladehinde Folaji- Olorogun Ide, Waheed Abiodun Ayeni- Saasore of Lagos, Omogbolahan Durosimi- the Suenu of Lagos, Ibikunle Bailey- the Oluwo of Lagos, Tajudeen Durosimi- Eti- the Eti of Lagos, prayed for the continued growth of Lagos and the Agency.

The General Manager, Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan in his response thanked the Chiefs for their support for his late father, his family and himself in the past, while he commended them for their belief in Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s government and prayed them to raise the level to all time high as that is the only gift they can give the Governor and the people of Lagos State as their divinely appointed representatives.

Ifalade pointed out that with the state of security in the country there is a need for everybody to have all hands on deck in order to stay safe and secured. He said the 6th Pillar of Mr Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES Agenda clearly states the vision of the Governor for a greater Lagos through Community Policing and reaffirmed the Neighbourhood Agency’s commitment to the attainment of the goals of the Governor’s Agenda.

The two teams promised to continue to cooperate towards ensuring the peace and growth of Lagos State.
