The General Manager of Lagos Neighborhood Safety Agency, LSNA, Prince Ifalade Oyekan has said that the officers of the agency played pivotal roles in ensuring security of lives and property at different praying centres across the State during the celebration of this year's Eid El Fitri.

The General Manager who also supervised the activities of the officers in some locations across the State, attested to the peaceful nature of the Eid El Fitri celebrations in different praying grounds in all the local government areas visited.

Oyekan commended the conduct of the officers in different locations of the State, saying that the officers adhered to the directives given to them from the agency's headquarters.

He recalled that the officers had been directed earlier to ensure effective coverage of all Eid El Fitri praying grounds and places of worship by maintaining patrol round the clock.

He added that the surveillance put in place by LSNA revealed that activities went smoothly without any threat to safety of residents of the State neither were any infractions noticed.

Oyekan disclosed that intelligence officers were also positioned at strategic spots for close observation and monitoring of the praying congregation in case of any strange movement or actions.

The Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring safety in our communities in the state which is in line with the greater Lagos initiative of the Sanwo-Olu's administration.
