The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan fsin has hinted on the expansion of the services of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency with the kick-off of its Marine corps.

While speaking during a courtesy visit to the Oniba Ekun of Iba Land, His Royal Majesty Oba Sulaiman Adeshina Raji-Ashade at his palace, Prince Oyekan revealed that the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the establishment of more Units for the Agency's operation.

Prince Ifalade said the visit was part of the Agency's efforts to fulfill the mandate of Mr Governor in ensuring the safety and security of Lagos and it's residents through the rebranding of the Agency.

He further said the Agency will continue to engage critical stakeholders in the State, especially the traditional institutions led by the Royal institution.

Oyekan also requested for the continued support, cooperation and collaboration of the Oniba Ekun and requested the Provision of office space for the Neighborhood Corps of the command and the provision of boats for the monitoring of the creeks in Kabiyesi's domain.

In his response, His Royal Majesty Oba Sulaiman Adeshina Raji-Ashade commended Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his visionary leadership, especially in the area of the safety and security of Lagos State.

Kabiyesi also appreciated the Prince Ifalade Oyekan and his team for carrying forward the vision of Mr Governor.

Oba Raji- Ashade expressed delight with the Agency, saying that the Agency was grounded in its intelligence gathering and general security of the various communities.

He also advised that the agency can have more than one office where the LGA/LCDA is big, while promising to table the requests with his chiefs and get back to the management soonest.

Kabiyesi, Oba Sulaiman Adeshina Raji-Ashade was also decorated as one of the Ambassadors of the Agency during the visit.
